Make It Friday!

Make It Friday is a new group that will run every (you guessed it!) Friday at Cudgee Hall, just 15 minutes outside of Warrnambool. The group will start in February 2024 and spaces will be limited so please get in touch as soon as possible to book a place.
The day will focus on creativity and the development of skill through activities such as Arts and Craft, Gardening, Sewing, Upcycling, Recycling and much more. The group content will be participant led and primarily driven by attendees ideas.

It will develop and promote:

• Social Connection

• Peer Support

• Practical and useful life skills

• Teamwork and collaboration

• Fine Motor Skills

 

We are so pleased to have two amazing people to run the group each week - Jane Scroggie and Louise Blackwood

 

Jane has 25 years experience in education across both primary and secondary levels, including 7 years in special education. She has a passion for craft, particularly textiles and loves to make stuff.

Louise has over 30 years of experience in the disability sector and a background in mental and allied health. She loves to create something from nothing and is keen to upcycle and recycle.
